Project Success Criteria vs Critical Success Factors









           Project success criteria and critical success factors are often used interchangeably but they refer to two
                                                             different concepts.




                                                 Here Are Their Definitions:










                      Project Success Criteria

            Principles or standards that will be applied to determine or judge project success, e.g. completion of certain deliver-
            able, performance indicators, the need to deliver works within a specified time and cost constraints, etc







                      Critical Success Factors

            Conditions, capabilities, events, and circumstances that contribute to project success, e.g. commitment from project
            sponsors, full-time staff assignment, Smart device design and development expertise, patent protection, etc
