Visual Paradigm 17.2 introduces a number of new features, which includes:

- Enhanced rule extraction in Doc. Composer
Bug fixes of Visual Paradigm 17.2 includes:
- Resolved failure to reverse PostgreSQL DDL file
- Addressed a reference between models not being covered in Excel export/import
- Fixed conflicted data not being shown in the conflict resolution window
- Corrected a page error in the project browser published by Project Publisher
- Fixed missing domain type for column in a logical entity created by 'duplicate'
- Resolved an error when generating Swagger
- Addressed an account activation issue for Teamwork Server with SSL and Okta integration
- Fixed visualized connector being wrongly set as master view
- Corrected DPI setting for export web diagram from VP desktop not working
- Addressed varchar(max) becoming varchar(255) when reverse SQL Server DDL
- Resolved Project browser (produced by Project Publisher) not following 'Show stereotype icon for model elements in tree' option
